Gokhale Education Society, founded in 1918, by late Prin.T.A. Kulkarni, is one of the oldest and pioneering educational institutions. The Society is established with the main objectives of developing quality citizens through education and training and to raise the dignity of teaching profession. The Society has all along emphasized the holistic approach and total personality development of pupils, through educational programmes undertaken on the basis of service and providing dynamic leadership.
The Nashik Campus has provided new dimensions to higher education, as the Society started H.P.T. Arts College in the year 1924 followed by the science stream in 1948. B.Y.K. College of Commerce was established in the year 1957, JDC Bytco IMSR in 1968, NBT Law College in 1969 and SMRK-BK-AK Mahila Mahavidyalaya in 1985
